Wall, NJ — December 12 — Wall Fire Stations 2 and 3 were assigned to a brush fire in another part of the township, while Wall Fire Company #1 responded to a reported car fire on the Garden State Parkway in Glendola's first-due area. The car fire was swiftly put out when engine firefighters arrived on the parkway.
Coordinated activities reduced traffic disruptions and there were no reported injuries. The Tinton Falls Wayside Fire Company responded as part of the coverage plan and helped the department. The incident exhibited efficient station coordination and mutual help preparedness, according to department officials.
