At approximately 1930 hours on January 4, 2026, the Burlington County Fire Alarm Room dispatched the Vincent Fire Company and automatic aid companies to 421 Isaac Budd Road, Southampton Twp, for the report of a barn fire. Working farms occupy much of this is part of rural Burlington County and fire hydrants are few and far between. Vincent Fire Chief Scott Mitchell, 1710, arrived and reported a heavily involved barn fire with other buildings and farm tractor equipment as exposures. Chief Mitchell activated the water tender strike team, knowing that this fire would require a large volume of water to bring under control and there were not any fire hydrants nearby. Several handlines, portable deck guns, and Tabernacle Quint 4313 were used to attack the fire and protect exposures before bringing this fire under control.
