Old Bridge, New Jersey — December 8 — In recognition of their ongoing assistance during recent emergency operations, the South Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company thanked their mutual aid partners. While local units dealt with occurrences, fire companies from other communities helped with response coverage, staffing of apparatus, and coordination of operations. During prolonged calls and times of high activity, mutual aid resources supported operations and helped keep the township covered.

Cooperation between departments facilitates the effective sharing of resources and ensures prompt response across municipal limits, according to department officials. Good working ties amongst local businesses are still crucial to daily operations and general preparedness. The agency emphasized that mutual aid is still an essential component of efficient emergency service delivery and commended all helping companies for their professionalism and dedication to teamwork.
