Multi-Unit Response to Entrapment Crash on Cranbury Road

Monmouth Junction, NJ — December 22 — A motor vehicle collision involving entrapment at Cranbury–South River Road and Stults Road was reported to the Monmouth Junction Vol. Fire Department, which has its headquarters at 573 Ridge Road. When units arrived, they discovered a single passenger car that had collided with a telephone pole, flipped over, and landed on its roof. The driver's seatbelt held her upside down. In order to safely release the occupant, Engine 1 crews stabilized the car and collaborated with South Brunswick EMS. After being securely lowered, the driver was put on a stretcher to receive additional medical attention. Chiefs 200 and 210, Rescue 205, Support Unit 207, and Engine 208 were among the responding units.
