On December 26, there was a reported blaze along Route 322 at the top of 100 MPH Hill. The Friendship Fire Company No. 1 helped the Mifflintown Hose Company. Utility 1, Tanker 1, and the Brush unit arrived to assist in suppression efforts and supply more resources on the slope. In the forested area next to the road, crews collaborated with Mifflintown units to contain the fire and prevent its spread.
