Friendship Fire Company Handles MVA, CO Alarm, and Holiday Parade

Port Royal, Pa. — December 14 — Over the weekend, Friendship Fire Company No. 1 managed many responses and neighborhood events.
The Squad and Utility went to a rollover car accident on Route 75 in Spruce Hill Township, Box 1-04, at 7:34 p.m. There were no reported injuries. The Squad later responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation at Maggie Kepner Road in Turbett Township at 1:35 a.m. After ventilating the building and keeping an eye on the air quality, the crew went back to their accommodations. Company units took part in the Port Royal Christmas Parade in addition to responding to emergencies. The Squad, Tanker, and Brush were in the parade, while the Utility and UTV assisted with traffic control in town. Fire officials thanked residents for coming out and supporting the event.
