New Brunswick, NJ — December 3 — A reported contents fire inside a building near Industrial Avenue was being attended to by units of the City of New Brunswick Fire Department. In order to contain the situation and stop it from spreading throughout the structure, crews came and started ventilation and fire suppression operations.

While keeping an eye on conditions across the building, firefighters sought to restrict the fire to the contents involved. Fireground operations were supported by the establishment of traffic control and scene safety. While firefighters remained on the site, drivers were advised to stay away from the area. During the response, no injuries were reported. Following suppression efforts, fire authorities continued to evaluate the situation and identify the cause, all in accordance with routine operating standards.
