Carteret, NJ — December 26 — All no-parking ordinances are in force across the borough, according to the Carteret Fire Department & EMS Division. In order to support ongoing activities, drivers are advised to refrain from parking on designated emergency routes and in restricted locations.

In order to enable the Carteret Department of Public Works to effectively clear roads and preserve access for emergency vehicles, parking restrictions will be strictly enforced by the Carteret Police Department. Whenever feasible, residents are urged to use driveways. Police, fire, and emergency medical services can respond to crises more quickly when streets are kept clear, according to officials. Residents' assistance is essential to keeping roads accessible and safe during emergency situations and winter activities.
