Two Vehicle MVA in Mastic Beach

On December 27th 2021 at 4:15pm the Mastic Beach Fire Department, Mastic Beach Ambulance Company and Suffolk County Police Department were dispatched to a reported Motor Vehicle Accident in front of 183 Beaver Drive. Mastic Beach Ambulance Company Ambulance 15 (5-39-15) and Suffolk County Police Department Sector Car 715 we’re the first units to arrive on scene. Once on scene Mastic Beach Ambulance Company assisted patients who were involved in the accident. Mastic Beach Fire Department Heavy Rescue 4 (5-13-4) arrived on scene and quickly got to work. Fire Fighters Dylan Munster and Devondre Thomas went and sized up what they were dealing with on scene. Once they finished there size up they secured the vehicle with heavy front end damage and put speedy dry on leaking fluids from the vehicle. Mastic Beach Fire Department Engine 8 (5-13-8). The crew from Engine 8 helped the crew of Rescue 4 by cleaning the debris field out of Neighborhood Road. No patients where transported to hospital. A tow truck was requested for both vehicles. All units were back in service and cleared in under an hour.
