There are many narrow, and congested, streets in old New Jersey cities. Firefighting operations, including setting up apparatus, is difficult, but firefighters manage to operate in their respective jurisdictions. A Jersey City firefighter operates the pump, with lines stretched off of the rear of the apparatus, during a multiple-alarm fire on Sherman av., November 23rd. A small belt size helps qualify for this job!
