Southside organizations, including the Demarest Fire Department, participated in two vehicle-extrication drills in November alongside Closter Rescue and both squads. Crews conducted a typical extrication procedure that included a door pop, side-wall removal, and roof removal, followed by a rollover scenario with a simulated victim trapped beneath. The training was held in the Haworth DPW lot. Thank you to the Haworth Volunteer Fire Department and Haworth DPW for their assistance.
