Belfast Fire & Rescue Promotes Lauren Schenk to Full-Time Firefighter/EMT

Belfast, Maine — October 21, 2026 — Lauren Schenk was promoted to full-time firefighter/ EMT by Belfast Fire & Rescue and added to the department's full-time staff. 

The department praised Schenk for her positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to community service. Her readiness to help others and support fellow firefighters has made her a valued member of the department. 

Belfast Fire & Rescue also highlighted her dedication to patient care and teamwork, qualities that will support her responsibilities in the new position.
