The Philadelphia Fire Department hosted its first fire muster since 2013, bringing together historic and modern emergency apparatus, firefighters, and fire service enthusiasts for a day of displays and demonstrations.
The event was held October 4, 2026, along Delaware Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where approximately 60 emergency vehicles were displayed despite periods of light rain. Participating departments included the Philadelphia and Camden Fire Departments, which demonstrated their fireboats' pumping capabilities on the Delaware River.
Additional participants included Oreland Volunteer Fire Company, whose 1937 International apparatus received Best of Show honors, and Brookline Volunteer Fire Company, which displayed Foam 35. The event also featured fire service memorabilia vendors and marked the beginning of Fire Prevention Week.
The muster returned after a 13-year absence, with the next event reportedly planned for October 3, 2027.
