Levant, Maine — September 16, 2026 — Brayden DeWitt, a junior firefighter with Levant Fire & Rescue, was honored for his efforts in supporting local students through the summer fire academy program at an award ceremony hosted by American Legion Post 115.
DeWitt was honored with the public service award by Levant Fire & Rescue for his role in planning and leading a summer fire academy for local students in Levant. The program offered young participants a chance to gain greater insight into the fire service and the duties involved in serving their community.
