Fire and life safety educators from Plainville, Massachusetts, participated in the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services’ annual Fire & Life Safety Education Conference in Southbridge on September 17, 2026, to broaden their expertise and remain updated on fire-prevention tools and public-education strategies.
Held on September 1617 at the Wellsworth Hotel & Conference Center, the two-day conference gathered more than 250 fire and life safety educators along with other public safety professionals from throughout the state. The 2026 conference, marking its 31st year, featured the theme “ Heating Up Safety: From Hot Topics to Cooler Solutions.”
