On September 12, 2026, firefighters from Plainfield, New Hampshire, and Cornish Fire and Rescue took part in a multi-team training exercise centered on vehicle extrication and the deployment of newly acquired rescue tools.
The training allowed firefighters to collaborate on extrication operations and get acquainted with the new tools. Hands-on vehicle rescue training lets crews rehearse stabilization, tool use, patient access, and safe extrication methods before they ’re required at a real crash scene.
