Firefighters Remember Sacrifice and Service at 9/11 Commemoration

Among those honored are the 343 firefighters from the Fire Department of New York (FDNY) who died in the line of duty. In the weeks and months following the attacks, firemen from across New Jersey and beyond flocked to Ground Zero to assist with recovery and relief efforts. Members of the Montclair Fire Department were among them, assisting with search operations and standing alongside thousands of responders who worked diligently on the scene.
