Training Tuesday: Firefighters Put Hose and Water Supply Skills to Work

— September 16, 2026 — After finishing water-supply and hose operations, firefighters ended their training night with some humor. 

A photo posted by the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department captured firefighters reloading hoses onto their equipment after last night’s drill. The department humorously proposed that firefighters who had laid the hose upside down would need to remove it and reattach it properly as a lesson in “ corrective action.”
