Berlin Fire Honor Guard Joins Gibbsboro 9/11 Ceremony

September 11, 2026: The Berlin Fire Company No. 1 Honor Guard joined veterans, first responders and community members Thursday evening for the Gibbsboro American Legion Post 371 annual 9/11 Recognition and Remembrance Ceremony.
The ceremony brought members of the community together to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and honor the sacrifices made by first responders and others in the years since.
The Berlin Fire Honor Guard was invited to participate in the ceremony, standing alongside members of Gibbsboro Fire Company No. 1, Gibbsboro Police Department, Voorhees Fire Department, Voorhees Police Department and West Berlin Fire-Rescue.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Berlin Fire Honor Guard respectfully retired the nation's colors, bringing the evening's remembrance to a close. The Berlin Fire Company thanked Gibbsboro American Legion Post 371 for continuing the annual tradition and for providing an opportunity for veterans, emergency responders and residents to gather in remembrance.
