August 30, 2026 — Audubon Park, New Jersey: Four of the Audubon Park Fire Company's newest Junior Firefighters were trained by Captain Wyatt and PFF Doto on Sunday.
In order to help the junior members become acquainted with the tools and procedures they could come across on the fireground, the training concentrated on fundamental abilities. Hydrant familiarization, apparatus familiarization, and one-minute drills were among the exercises.
Every member, even those who are not yet certified for interior firefighting, has a duty, the agency stressed. By learning the locations of equipment, honing fundamental skills, and becoming ready for future responsibilities, junior and probationary firemen can gain experience.
