Cherry Grove Mini

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

The Cherry Grove Fire Department located on Fire Island took delivery of its second mini pumper. The first one delivered in 2015. Both units were built by Neville Emergency Equipment with chassis by Taylor Dunn. The unit features a 500gpm rear mounted pump and carries 200' of 1 3/4" hose, two SCBA with spare bottles, a little giant ladder and forcible entry tools. There is no water tank as water is supplied by hydrants on the island.
