Upper Deerfield, NJ - Upper Deerfield Fire Department Station 33 members have participated in a community outreach event in Cumberland County, engaging with members of the Holy Ghost Tabernacle Church as part of ongoing efforts to inspire future responders.

On 31 August in Cumberland County, firefighters alongside the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office have provided an interactive demonstration of fire and rescue apparatus, giving attendees an up-close look at the tools and equipment used during emergency operations.

Participants have also been introduced to specialized resources including a K-9 unit and drone technology utilized in search and rescue missions, highlighting the expanding role of modern equipment in emergency response.

The event has offered a hands-on learning experience for community members, especially younger attendees, helping build awareness, interest, and appreciation for the fire service and encouraging the next generation of future responders.
