Hampton, NH - Hampton Fire/Rescue Group 2 conducted hands-on training utilizing Engine 5, focusing on water flow operations and apparatus familiarization in a controlled training environment.

On August 16, 2026, crews worked through practical evolutions designed to reinforce pump operations, hose handling, and effective water delivery techniques both on the ground and in elevated flow scenarios. The drill allowed members to operate the apparatus under realistic conditions while building confidence in water movement and fireground supply operations.

With several newer members on the roster, the training also provided an important opportunity for skill development and familiarization with department-specific equipment. Experienced firefighters and officers guided the evolution, sharing operational knowledge and reinforcing best practices throughout the session.

Emphasis was placed on teamwork, comunication, and smooth coordination between crew members, ensuring efficient operations during hose deployment and sustaned water flow.
