Oceanside Fire Department Thanks Parade Committee for 2026 Celebration

OCEANSIDE, NY —  The Oceanside Fire Department is honoring the parade committee members for their efforts in planning and executing the 2026 Nassau County Firemen's Association Parade and America 250 Celebration.


On July 18, 2026, Fireman's Field at 88 Mott Street served as the focal point of the parade and celebration that took place in Oceanside. Grucci lists the fireworks show that concluded the evening, while public event listings verify the date and location.


The department claims that the committee worked on organizing, coordinating, and carrying out the event during the preceding year.


The committee consisted of: Chief of Department Sean B. Lynch, 1st Assistant Chief Kevin M. Klein Sr. 2nd Assistant Chief Marc R. Sparberg, 3rd Assistant Chief William H. Sitzman, Former Chief John Traverso, Former Chief Patrick Madden, Commissioner Biagio Rosano, Former Captain Christina Rahn and District Supervisor Matthew Martin III
