Broome, NY - The Hillcrest Fire Company No. 1 participated in a multi-company water shuttle drill hosted in coordination with New City Fire Engine Co. No. 1 and Wayne Hose Co #1 Inc.

The training provided newer drivers with the opportunity to operate apparatus and practice pumping operations, while also giving newer members exposure to large-scale water supply logistics. The drill focused on improving coordination, efficiency, and operational understanding of rural water shuttle procedures.

Such joint exercises continue to enhance interoperability between departments and strengthen overall readiness for incidents requiring sustained water supply operations.
