Firefighters Showed Vehicle Extrication Techniques

Pelham, N.H. — August 3 — The Pelham Fire Department demonstrated automobile extrication as part of the Pelham Police Department's National Nite Out. Firefighters demonstrated how they would extract an injured passenger from a car after a collision if they were still stuck. Coordinated extrication procedures, rescue equipment, and vehicle stability were all included in the exercise.


Residents had the chance to witness how fire and rescue personnel responded to car crises and learned about the labor-intensive process of rescuing trapped motorists. The Pelham Fire Department is situated at 36 Village Green and offers rescue, emergency medical response, and fire suppression services. Additionally, National Nite Out promoted community contact between citizens and law enforcement.
