Hinsdale, NY - Members of the Hinsdale Fire Department participated in annual Aircraft Live Fire Training hosted by Hancock Field Fire & Emergency Services, working alongside personnel from the 174th Attack Wing.

The training focused on fire attack, backup operations, search and rescue, and familiarization with ARFF apparatus, providing valuable hands-on experience in aircraft firefighting tactics.

While a portion of members attended the drill, another crew remained in service conducting vehicle stabilization training and responding to two alarms within the district, ensuring continuous operational coverage.

The department expressed appreciation for the opportunity and reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing training and readiness.
