On August 9, probationary fireman Heise participated in practical hose line training with D-shift firemen from the Professional firemen of Keene.
Hose-load deployment, water flow, and moving hose lines up stairwells were the main topics of the drill. For the newest members of the department, the training reaffirmed fundamental firefighting techniques.
