On July 24, FDNY representatives joined New York City Councilmember Linda Lee at Engine 251 to present checks totaling $7 million for firehouse upgrades.
The apparatus floor will be replaced as one of the many upgrades included in the project. The investment will assist Engine 251's ongoing preparedness to serve the community, upgrade the facilities, and enhance working conditions for firefighters.
