On August 9, members of the Sugar Valley Community Fire Company performed practical vehicle extrication training using a bus and multiple passenger cars.

Firefighters had the chance to practice extrication techniques and operate with rescue equipment in various vehicle layouts as a crew from Squad 6 joined department members for the exercise. According to the department, the training was beneficial for preserving and enhancing operating abilities.

The Squad 6 crew and everyone who assisted in making the training possible were praised by Sugar Valley officials.
