Special Operations Training Strengthens Response Capabilities

Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue conducted in-house training with Special Operations teams to enhance skills critical to both responder and community safety.


Aerial Operations personnel focused on classroom instruction, building foundational knowledge in preparation for upcoming hands-on training. At the same time, Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) crews trained in confined space rescue, practicing specialized techniques required for operating in complex and hazardous environments.


These training efforts reinforce the department’s commitment to maintaining a high level of readiness across specialized disciplines.
