On August 6, a report of a car in the water prompted the Old Mystic Fire Department Dive Team to react to the Weekapaug Breachway.
Members of the dive team used specific gear and training for the marine issue while working in the water as part of the response. In order to help the continuing emergency effort, crews worked to evaluate the car.
