To encourage community involvement and public safety, the Boston Fire Department's Fire Prevention Education Unit joined Boston Fire Cadets, Boston Police Cadets, and Boston EMS Cadets during Mayor Michelle Wu's Open Streets event in Jamaica Plain on August 4.

To offer fire safety education, firefighters collaborated with the Boston Police Department, Boston EMS, Boston Public Health Commission, and other local organizations. Attendees had the chance to test their knowledge of fire safety, discover preventative strategies, and win prizes with a brand-new Fire Safety Spinning Wheel.
