Albany, GA - Several members of the Albany Fire Department participated in specialized training with the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department to enhance their preparedness for emergencies at Albany’s airport.

The training focused on developing the knowledge and operational skills needed to respond effectively to aviation-related incidents and other emergencies in an airport environment.

The experience provided firefighters with valuable preparation for the unique challenges of airport response and strengthened the department’s ability to protect the traveling public and airport community.
