Honey Brook Fire Company Marked America’s 250th Independence Day

Honey Brook, PA. — July 4 — In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American independence, Honey Brook Fire Company No. 1 joined towns around the country. The celebration honored 250 years of the country's history and service as well as the writing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.


During one of the busiest weekends of the year, firemen stood ready to handle emergencies while locals enjoyed the holiday. The event also demonstrated the volunteer firefighters' ongoing dedication to safeguarding their communities and encouraging safe celebrations. The celebration honored the timeless principles of community, commitment, and service that characterize the American fire department.
