West Chester, Pa. — July 4 — In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American freedom, Goshen Fire Company joined towns throughout. The celebration honored 250 years of the country's history and service as well as the writing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. During one of the busiest weekends of the year, firemen were ready to respond to emergencies as locals gathered for holiday events.

The event also demonstrated the volunteer firefighters' continued dedication to safeguarding their communities and encouraging safe celebrations. The celebration honored the principles of community, commitment, and service that still serve as the foundation for the nation's fire service.
