Delaware, N.J. — July 24 — Ryan Michaelson received recognition from Knowlton Township Fire and Rescue Company No. 1 for completing the Firefighter I and Firefighter II programs at the Warren County Fire Academy. Classroom education and hands-on training in fire suppression, search and rescue, ladders, ventilation, water supply, and firefighter safety were all part of the program.

The curriculum trained graduates for emergency response and satisfied New Jersey requirements for entry-level firemen. The department also acknowledged the dedication to the fire service and the achievements of the whole graduating class from the academy. The new credentials supported ongoing community service and enhanced local emergency response skills.
