Belvidere, N.J. — July 4 — In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American freedom, Mountain Lake Fire Company joined communities throughout. The milestone honored 250 years of the country's history and service as well as the writing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. During one of the busiest periods of the year, firemen were prepared to respond to emergencies while locals rejoiced with holiday events.

The celebration also brought attention to the volunteer fire departments' ongoing contribution to community safety and local customs. The anniversary acted as a reminder of the principles of community, dedication, and devotion that still serve as the foundation for the fire department.
