Asbury, N.J. — July 23 — Franklin Township Fire & EMS celebrated Justin and Yaz's graduation from the local fire academy. The recruits finished the coursework and practical training needed to become certified firefighters and get ready for emergency situations. Fire suppression, search and rescue, ladder operations, hazardous materials awareness, and firefighter safety were all covered in fire school training.

Their graduation enhanced the department's capacity to respond to emergencies in the township and other mutual assistance communities by adding qualified personnel to its volunteer ranks. Members of the department greeted the graduates and acknowledged their dedication to volunteering as firefighters in the community.
