Alpha, N.J. — July 4 — Alpha Volunteer Fire Company Station 82 honored the men and women who have served in the US Armed Forces and celebrated the country's 250th anniversary of freedom on freedom Day. While being prepared to react to emergency calls, the department observed the holiday alongside communities across the nation.

Since Independence Day is typically one of the busiest periods of the year for emergency services owing to increased traffic, outdoor gatherings, and fireworks activity, fire officials also urged folks to enjoy carefully. The department's dedication to public safety and community service during the holiday weekend was demonstrated by the observance.
