Mutual Aid Crews Completed Multi-Company Structure Training

Allamuchy, N.J. — July 16 — At a purchased building that was going to be demolished, the Allamuchy Fire Department held a multi-company training exercise with the Green Township Fire Department and the Byram Township Fire Department. Hose advancement, main search and rescue, wall breaching, and vertical ventilation with roof operations were among the hands-on stations that firefighters rotated through. For the purpose of training coordinated fireground operations in a controlled setting, the abandoned structure offered realistic conditions.


Through the exercise, teams were able to reinforce mutual aid protocols, enhance operational coordination, and increase communication during structural fires and other emergencies. Opportunities for cooperative training like this assist guarantee that firefighters are always ready to operate safely and efficiently across departmental boundaries.
