On August 4 from 6 to 9 p.m., the Laurence Harbor Fire Department will take part in the community's National Night Out event, giving locals a chance to meet volunteer firefighters and discover more about the department.

The department will give information about its services, show off a fire vehicle, and host kid-friendly events including a prize wheel and junior firefighter costume for pictures. Additionally, attendees are urged to support the local food bank by bringing non-perishable food contributions.
