On July 10, firefighter John Mamo III of the Laurence Harbor Fire Department received his Firefighter I and II certifications from the Monmouth County Fire Academy.
As he started his career in the fire service, his father, Laurence Harbor Fire Department member John Mamo, gave him his firefighter shield during the graduation ceremony.
