Mannington Fire Company Marked Independence Day

Mannington, N.J. — July 4 — In honor of Independence Day, Department Mannington Fire Company sent out holiday greetings and urged locals to enjoy the Fourth of July in a safe manner. The department advised the community to take particular care when using grills, sparklers, and outdoor cooking equipment, and to attend professional fireworks shows whenever feasible. Residents were urged to keep a fire extinguisher or water source close at hand, keep a safe distance from combustible objects, and properly dispose of hot charcoal after usage.


Additionally, the department acknowledged the value of community get-togethers and expressed gratitude to locals for their responsible holiday festivities throughout the township and neighboring villages, which helped prevent avoidable fires and injuries.
