Pennsville, N.J. — July 4 — In honor of America's 250th anniversary, Department Pennsville Fire & Rescue Company No. 1 took part in the community's Independence Day celebration at Riverview Beach Park. As they joined locals, visitors, and local organizations for the holiday celebration, firefighters proudly hoisted the American flag. The event acknowledged the history of the country and emphasized the value of civic pride and community service.

Throughout the celebration, department personnel were also on hand to assist with public safety while interacting with guests. The occasion demonstrated the department's ongoing dedication to helping the community through public gatherings that united locals on Independence Day as well as emergency responses.
