Mutual Aid Departments Mourned Firefighter Robert Reider

Elmer, N.J. — July 10 — Following the line-of-duty death of fireman Robert "Bobby" Reider, 23, who died on July 10 from injuries incurred in an accident while responding to a fire emergency on June 27, Department Willow Grove Fire Company NJ sent condolences to mutual aid partner Malaga Fire Company. He has been a member since 2018, finished Firefighter I training in 2022, and continued to participate in departmental activities, drills, and emergency responses.


Willow Grove gave support to Reider's family, friends, and fellow firefighters in recognition of his dedication to the fire service. Tributes to his devoted volunteer work and enduring accomplishments were also expressed by fire departments throughout New Jersey.
