Bernville, PA - The Bernville Community Fire Company hosted a training session with the Newmanstown Volunteer Fire Company focused on water supply operations.
Crews reviewed pump skills, apparatus, and the operation of the area’s primary water tank system, a key resource for incidents without hydrant access. The tank, maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, holds approximately 105,000 gallons and requires specific valve and pump procedures for proper use.
The training ensured mutual aid partners are prepared to efficiently utilize this critical water source during emergency responses.
