Mt. Lebanon Fire Marked America’s 250th Independence Day

Pittsburgh, Pa. — July 4 — As the United States commemorated the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Mt. Lebanon Fire Department joined towns nationwide in commemorating the Fourth of July. In honor of the occasion, the department emphasized the principles of community, freedom, and service that still serve as the foundation for the fire service.
Additionally, fire officials urged locals to celebrate responsibly by adhering to grilling and fireworks safety regulations and, whenever feasible, visiting expertly planned fireworks shows. In addition to assisting locals in having a secure and enjoyable Independence Day celebration, the yearly observance reaffirmed the department's dedication to community service, fire safety, and public safety.
