On July 16, the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department held its yearly Carnival Parade, which attracted participation from other fire departments, emergency medical services, public safety organizations, and community groups from all around the area.

Patterson Heights Volunteer Fire Department won the Engine Award, East Palestine Fire Department won the Ladder Award, and Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department won the Rescue Award in a number of apparatus and marching categories. Participating agencies and organizations received additional awards for their services.

Department representatives expressed gratitude to all attendees, volunteers, and community partners for contributing to the success of the yearly parade.
