Brooksville, FL - The Hernando County Fire Rescue conducted nighttime training focused on ladder truck placement and aerial operations.

Crews practiced positioning the apparatus to maximize effectiveness while ensuring firefighter safety.


Training emphasized the use of bucket anchor points and proper harnessing techniques, allowing personnel to securely operate tools such as the torch and K12 saw during elevated operations.


Operating in low-light conditions provided realistic scenarios, helping build confidence, precision, and coordination. This ongoing training ensures firefighters remain prepared to safely perform complex aerial tasks during emergency incidents.
